Her powerful paintings possess an immediate vitality – each one a colour event and a colouristic feast for the eyes. With the impressive, wall-filling painting “Il grande spettacolo in cielo” she has created a homage to Venetian painting, a tradition with which she has been deeply engaged for many years. Bischof maintains a permanent studio on the Lido di Venezia. This continuous proximity to the cultural and atmospheric cosmos of the lagoon city has lastingly shaped her painterly practice.
